Shipping policy

 

At The Muslim Safe Space, we're just as excited as you are to receive your order. That's why every order comes with free tracked shipping worldwide and full customs coverage, so you can shop with complete peace of mind from checkout to delivery.


Processing Time

All orders are processed and dispatched within 1 to 3 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays). Orders placed after 2:00 PM GMT will begin processing the next business day.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number and carrier details. Please allow 24 to 48 hours after receiving your confirmation for tracking information to become active.

During peak periods (including Ramadan, Eid, and Black Friday), processing times may extend slightly. We will always communicate any expected delays via our website and social media channels.

Please note: We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect or incomplete address information. Please double-check your details at checkout. We are unable to amend addresses once an order has been dispatched.


Estimated Delivery Times

All delivery times below are estimated working days (Monday to Friday), calculated from the date of dispatch, not the date your order was placed. These are estimates and not guaranteed delivery dates.

Actual delivery times may vary depending on your specific location within each region, local postal service capacity, customs processing, and any circumstances beyond our control. In accordance with UK consumer law, if no delivery date has been agreed, goods will be delivered within 30 days of purchase.

We currently do not ship to P.O. Box addresses or BFPO addresses. If you are unsure whether we deliver to your location, please contact us before placing your order.


International Fulfilment

To ensure the fastest possible delivery to our global community, orders are dispatched from our international fulfilment centre. This means your tracking information may show an origin point outside the United Kingdom. Rest assured, all products are quality-checked before dispatch regardless of fulfilment location.


Import Tax & Duties

All orders are shipped on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis. This means:

  • All import taxes, duties, and handling fees are covered by us.
  • You will not be charged anything additional at delivery.
  • Customs documentation is fully prepared by us to ensure smooth clearance.

The price you see at checkout is the final price you pay. No surprises.


Order Tracking

Every order is sent with full tracking. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email. If you have not received your shipping confirmation, please check your spam or junk folder before contacting us.

If your tracking has not updated after 5 working days from dispatch, please contact us at info@themuslimsafespace.com and we will investigate immediately.


Modifying Your Order

  • If you need to update your order (e.g. address or items), please contact us at info@themuslimsafespace.com as soon as possible.
  • Orders are processed quickly, so changes cannot be guaranteed once fulfilment has begun.
  • Once shipped, no further changes can be made. Errors due to incorrect details at checkout remain the customer's responsibility.

Damaged Items on Arrival

If your order arrives damaged, please do the following within 48 hours of delivery:

  1. Take clear photographs of the damaged item and packaging.
  2. Email us at info@themuslimsafespace.com with your order number and photos.
  3. Do not discard the packaging or product until we have reviewed your case.

We will arrange a replacement or full refund at your preference once the damage has been confirmed. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have the right to receive goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described.


Haven't Received Your Package?

If your tracking shows the order as delivered but you haven't received it:

  1. Check with neighbours or building staff.
  2. Contact your local courier depot or post office with your tracking number.
  3. If you still cannot locate it, email us at info@themuslimsafespace.com and we'll assist.

Please note: Orders marked as "delivered" by the courier are considered fulfilled. We will always help investigate, but final responsibility lies with the courier once delivery has been confirmed.


Shipping Delays & Lost Orders

  • We do not offer refunds for shipping delays, as these are outside our control once an order has been handed to the courier.
  • If your order arrives later than expected but you no longer wish to keep it, you may return it under our Return Policy. Refunds will be issued after the item is received and inspected.
  • If your order has not arrived within 5 working days after the upper end of your estimated delivery window, please contact us and we will work with our fulfilment partner to locate your package.
  • If your order is confirmed lost in transit, we will either send a replacement or issue a full refund at your preference. We ask that you allow the full estimated delivery window plus 5 additional working days before reporting an order as lost.

Your Rights Under UK Consumer Law

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods for any reason. This is your statutory cooling-off period. You then have a further 14 days to return the items to us.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, all goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If your items are faulty or not as described, you have the right to a repair, replacement, or refund. We cover return postage costs for faulty or incorrectly supplied items.


Our Packaging

We are committed to reducing our environmental impact. Where possible, we use recyclable and minimal packaging materials. We are continually working with our fulfilment partners to improve our packaging sustainability.
